How Google AdSense Works:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites on the internet.
  • Google's use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
  • Google AdSense may collect and use data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing patterns to deliver personalised advertisements.

Opting Out of Personalised Advertising:

We do not have control over the cookies used by Google AdSense or other third-party advertisers. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track and analyse the use of our Services. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC that uses cookies to collect information about website traffic and usage patterns.

The information generated by cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers that may be located outside India. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.

Opting Out: You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

For more information on Google's privacy practices, visit the Google Privacy & Terms page.

6. Artificial Intelligence Products

Our Services use artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies ("AI Products") to analyse messages, URLs, UPI IDs, QR codes, and screenshots for scam detection. These AI Products are designed to provide risk assessments and fraud indicators.

AI Service Providers

We use third-party AI service providers, including OpenAI, to power our scam detection tools. When you submit content for analysis, the text or extracted content may be sent to these AI service providers for processing. This processing is done in real-time, and submissions are not stored permanently by our AI service providers for the purpose of training their models.

How AI Processes Your Data

  • Messages, URLs, and extracted text from screenshots are sent to AI services for fraud pattern analysis.
  • The AI generates risk scores, verdicts, and explanations based on the submitted content.
  • No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent to AI services — only the content you submit for analysis.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. When We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited situations:

  • Business Transfers: If ScamDekho is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Scan submissions: Messages, URLs, and screenshots submitted for analysis are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently. Temporary processing data is deleted within 90 days.
